It appears we've reached the Crossroads

Greetings All ! I am pleased to be 'back in the saddle', so to speak. If you been wondering where f#&! I've been, I'll tell you...'we right here'. It's true. I have spent the better part of the last 12 months finally building i site's sister business. Often, in the course of human events, it becomes necessary to pause for a moment's reflection. So let me do just that.

My life has undergone some pretty radical changes in this last year, some good, some not so good. I have experienced periods of real darkness, and wondered if I had reached an impasse.. But, alas, after these gloomy times, I found some new 'hybrid vigor'. (apologies to Webb Wilder) The business plan I had worked on finally reached the point of necessitating construction. From where I sat when this realization occurred, I questioned my capacity to..shall I say...pull it off ?

But, as I read over the plan, I remembered my original motivations and inspirations for the project. I also realized that because what I envisioned still didn't exist, it was now or never. And so I set forth to undertake the project...alone. Let me say that the lessons I have learned along the way have fueled my passion for the site I will launch in the next two weeks. It is a story of success and growth. Mostly, I have rediscovered the pride, self respect and determination which had nearly disappeared from my life.

So let me say that I'M GLAD TO BE BACK...AND I AM BIGGER, STRONGER AND FASTER THAN EVER BEFORE ! Be sure to visit My Greatest Cape, if you get a chance. It is my Magnum Opus..so far.

i site has taken on a new challenge, as well ! We have left the 'nuts and bolts' of site building behind. We are now in the exclusive business of web consulting. It is awesome ! It also allows us to handle a much larger client base. We are growing and liking it. It's like my friend Jimmy Cliff told me "Better Days Are Coming"...by and by. We'll talk soon !

Welcome back to the southwest Florida ! / isite design

I site design

Greetings from the i site design proprietor!

As prior posts have referenced as much, Yours truly has been caught up in the fabric of life...as it is.

Despite the madness that is my life, we've made some changes at isite. In case you haven't been there in a while, we've got new pages and articles! While I might stop just short of saying we have something for everyone..WE REALLY DO ! If affiliate marketing is an interest of yours, check out our article; Why should I Learn to be an Affiliate Marketer and I'll share my own experience doing this.

If your facing a redesign and it's been a little while since you've built a web page, you can get some refresher help regarding the design and also on writing the copy for your site, as well.

AS most of my activities has centrailized around Greatestcape , I haven't had as much time to return emails, visit the BLOGs, etc. But, alas, here I am...at last!
It's good to be back!

5 Branding Tips

Here's some of that good old fashioned Web Design 101 stuff. We've all heard most of it, but do we follow our own best advice ?? I know I try. There are times when the rules must be set aside and sometimes broken. The point is that you must know the rules in order to break them. If your just getting on the web, or have done so recently, these are 5 solid tips for improving your site's brand.

web design is our art...

Excellent web design can be defined. It is not, however, a simple definition. In my humble opinion, a 'great site' combines pleasing aesthetics, simple, clear navigational elements, and compelling information architecture...but that definition is from the standpoint of a front-end technologist, not the developer. The developer defines excellent web design as having a W3C standards based, section 508 compliant, clearly defined, minimal, non-redundant, effectively scripted optimized source code. I believe that about wraps the IT definition of excellence. It's only when front and back ends are all they can be that we begin to arrive at excellence. Excellence is my commitment to my clients.
